OFF is an academic gathering revolving around the recognised state of being off-focus.
Rather than renouncing knowledge, the blurred view encourages creative unease and the embrace of lateral questioning and permanent enquiry.
OFF collects random subjects and artefacts relating to architecture, urbanism and landscape, prividing material for debate.

FRIGIDARIUM is a series of temporary public space installations designed to provide cooling relief wherever they are placed. Every summer, the city of Rome faces extreme temperatures that negatively impact public health and lead to increased energy consumption as people seek ways to cope. Public spaces can mitigate these effects by offering "micro-climate shelters." FRIGIDARIUM channels the cooling benefits of rainwater and the fountains found throughout the city’s streets, parks, and squares.
Project Components:
PEDILUVIO (Footbath): A shallow pool, the size of two parallel parking spaces, designed for people to soak their feet up to the ankles while walking through or sitting down.
SERBATOIO (Reservoir): A 1,000-liter cistern equipped with an imposing funnel to collect rainwater. It makes water available—especially during dry spells—for splashing hands and feet, cooling down hot surfaces, or watering plants.
NASONE (The "Big Nose"): The iconic Roman drinking fountain that provides a continuous flow of fresh, potable water. When not in direct use, its flow can be diverted to fill the Pediluvio, the Serbatoio, and thousands of other cooling installations across the city.
